I saw ” GHOST IN THE SHELL S.A.C. Solid State Society ” many years ago.

Here is a brief description of the story.

Summary of the story. Is it about the future of Japan?

Two years have passed since Motoko left the section 9. She investigates crimes by herself. Now Togusa is the leader of the section 9. On the investigation of a terrorist attack, Togusa’s team cornered a terrorist.

Motoko

Suddenly the desparate terrorist yelled”Puppet master(I do not know how it is translated, but I think this is very likely) is coming to me!”then shot himself and died.

Through the investigation, Togusa and Bato begin to realize that the puppet master is a super-hacker.(Bato suspects Motoko is the puppet master)He(or she) even hacks Togusa’s brain and tries to force him to kill himself…..

What is “Solid State Society”? What is Motoko trying to do?

Excellent graphic, and an elaborate story.

Issues in the movie reflects today’s Japanese social matters so vividly, that I felt the fictional story could be real in the near future. …..the thought gave me a chill.
